BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
- This model is that of the infamous 1974 Dodge Monaco Pursuit car that featured prominently in many
states in America in the mid- 1970's era onwards. It, along with later models of the Monaco,
also played its part in various TV and movie screenings, two of the most significant roles being
in the earlier episodes of the Dukes of Hazzard as part of Roscoe's fleet, and of course in the
Blues Brothers movie as part of the seemingly thousands of cop cars that made that movie so great :)
Not to forget the Blues Brothers car itself, a 1974 Monaco which was a former cop car.

NOTES:
As a follow-up to the release of the Blues Brothers Car, I thought it fitting to release a similar model
of car to set chase to it in Midtown and get more of a feeling of a true classic car chase that we all
love to see. Now you can love to drive in one, and be on either side :) It's a good complement to the
several other quality classic muscle cars that have been released for MM1, so there's plenty of fun to
be had - get racing or go chasing, it's up to you!

The car features a totally new rebuilt model from the Bluesmobile, even if they were both in fact the
same year and model of car. I just wanted to fit in a few more details that I wasn't capable of during
the Bluesmobile development. The overall curvature and shape of the car is much closer to a Monaco now,
and everything appears more refined.

Tuning and sounds have been taken and modified from the Bluesmobile. I made this car slightly lighter
and reduced the acceleration a little, given that it was not as heavily customised as its counterpart.
Still, the cop tuning will still provide enough power to keep anyone happy when trashing through Midtown,
with the sheer size of the car being a key factor. Plenty of body-roll around the turns, just as you'd
expect for a big car. Other features that were popular have been kept, such as the dashboard (just edited
a little), the reverse-180 capability (now improved), and the rotating camera files. Enjoy :)

The car features one colour scheme with damage - it's actually the scheme used in the 1975 cars, with a
few of my own little additions. It also fits in better with the other cop cars available for the game.
I used the Bluesmobile textures as a basic template this time, and just drew everything over the top of
those. Everything is hand-drawn of course, I think it gives by far the best results. The little details
such as the car number, Monaco scripting, police slogans and license plates have been mapped out
separately to give a much crisper appearance. I've shaded the car as much as I could, but it's harder
to do so with a light-coloured car. The colour is not a uniform white, but a darker shade to give a more
realistic effect which I think is more appropriate. I let the in-game reflections finish the job.

So, the car's here for you to enjoy now; just drive and chase like a pro, if you can handle it ;-)

MANY THANKS TO:
- Patrick: bringing me onboard the Patwo Design crew and giving me a great head-start in the car-making
world; being a nice, co-operative guy as always :-) and for supplying a few instument panels for the dashboard.
- Rocket: his hard work and great discoveries have indirectly played a part in enabling me to add that
little bit more quality to my MM1 work, and I am very grateful for the effort he has put in to benefit
us all. Also provided a few vital pointers during testing.
- Bobby Justewicz: supplying a few great photos of various '74 Monaco cars that were a very helpful
  reference source.
- Qwerty_86 - supplying car dimensions and stats for the Monaco, and giving a few very useful suggestions
  for the car.
- The Midtown Madness community, of course. The comments, suggestions and encouragement I get from you
people is brilliant, and gives me a genuine purpose for making these cars.
